Portable Elemental Analyzer

Plasma Emission,  for Solution, Desktop, Flow Injection

The MH-6000A Portable Elemental Analyzer is an elemental analyzer dedicated for liquid samples.

For the elemental analyzers (ICP emission spectrometers) for general liquid samples, argon gas has to be ionized to generate high-temperature plasma, which makes the equipment large and expensive.

Micro Emission has developed the liquid electrode plasma method, which has been patented in Japan, the United States, and China. It has eliminated the need for the gas cylinders, gas pipes, exhaust ducts, etc., that are required for conventional elemental analyzers. This makes the MH-6000A compact and portable, with its weight as light as 4.4kg.

The MH-6000A employs a flow cell that offers excellent measurement accuracy and stability, and supports continuous measurement. Thus, it can perform real-time water quality management at production sites such as factories. For example, beverage manufacturers need to indicate the components such as sodium (Na), Magnesium (Mg), K (potassium), Ca (calcium), etc. The MH-6000A with its’ flow cell can measure those components in real time.

In addition, in elemental analysis of wastewater from sewage treatment plants and factories, real-time inspection of harmful substances such as Cd (cadmium) and Cs (cesium) is also available.

Two types of measurement cells, quartz and sapphire, are available. Alkaline solvents and Si can be measured with sapphire cells. The MH-6000A has two built-in spectrometers that enable the system to cover a wide wavelength range with high resolution, and supports measurement of up to 45 target elements.
